1.Event Overview

The Fresher Student Orientation Camp has been held annually since Academic Year 2008, offering a series of themed programs designed specifically for first-year undergraduates to help them become familiar with the NTU campus environment.

For Academic Year 2025, the program will feature a range of activities, including themed team challenges, a music festival, a student club bazaar, and lecture hosted by senior students.

| Introduction |

NTU Lectures are held in three locations—Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung—allowing freshers to choose the session most convenient to their place of residence.

The event consists of two parts: Lecture Session and Board Game Interaction.

During the Lecture Session, invited NTU alumni from various fields and current students will share their experiences. Alumni will talk about their academic journey and resources at NTU, while current students will introduce essential campus guidelines, including housing and course selection for the year.

At the end of the lecture, around 40 participants will be randomly selected on-site to continue with the Board Game Interaction at a nearby café or board game venue.

  • The board game venue is approximately 10–15 minutes away from the lecture location by public transportation (MRT or bus) or on foot. Participants who are selected will either go with a staff-led group or make their way there on their own.

  • Each participant may only register for one session. If you need to change your selected session after registering, please fill out the session change form.

| Introduction |

The event consists of two parts: Pre-Event Online Icebreaker and On-Site Team Challenge.

  • Pre-Event Online Icebreaker:
    Participants will be grouped into teams of 14 and added to a LINE group one week before the on-site event. Through online icebreaker activities, freshers from different departments will get a chance to know each other in advance.

  • On-Site Team Challenge:
    This is a 90-minute indoor competition featuring campus life-themed games. NTU-related topics—such as course selection rules, administrative resources, and campus facilities—are turned into interactive challenges like Monopoly-inspired tasks, quiz games, and Bingo.
    Teams will go through 3 rounds of games, and those who win 2 out of 3 rounds (or all 3) will receive an OC18 Limited Edition Travel Bag.

   8/28 | Fresher Music Festival
| Introduction |
The event is divided into two main areas: the 3F Marketplace Zone and the 1F Performance Zone.
  • 3F Marketplace Zone:
    This area features a vibrant market with 15 administrative units and 34 student club booths. Participants can collect exclusive goodies at each booth, and those who complete the stamp collection can redeem special items at the service desk, including the Rock-Themed Limited Edition Cup Sleeve and the Cutie Squirrel Folding Umbrella.

  • 1F Performance Zone:
    The event will kick off with a performance by a featured artist, followed by a series of dynamic shows presented by NTU’s performance-based student clubs.
